We will discuss zoning, criteria for additional suites, parking requirements and more. This is a perfect opportunity to have your questions answered about the current market prices, expectations and opportunities.
Don’t Miss this Opportunity to Walk Through Actual BRRR Projects
Join us for an in-person real estate investment tour of several homes at various stages in the conversion process. We will include a tour at an ideal “before” property, check out one at the demolition stage (always a favourite for clients) and visit a finished, legal 2-unit home that is ready to rent.
Real estate investing can appear intimidating at the best of times. Add in markets exploding and then correcting, interest rates rising and the future not entirely clear, and you would be forgiven for wanting to sit on the sidelines for now.
But that would be a mistake.
The fundamentals of real estate remain the same regardless of outside forces and the critical element is knowing what to look for – from where to buy, when to renovate and how to rent for positive, consistent cash flow. Looking for a property on paper or online can only go so far.
What you really need is to have the opportunity to see properties at various stages of the real estate investing process. That is why with restrictions lifted and opportunities to be seized, we are running our highly popular property tours again.
Join us for an in-person real estate investment tour of several homes at various stages in the conversion process. We will begin the tour at an ideal “before” property, then check out the demolition stage (always a favourite for clients) and finally visit a finished, legal 2-unit home.
As we tour, we will be discussing the ideal criteria for an investment property that goes beyond dated kitchens and ugly wallpaper. There are “deal breakers” that can only be assessed on-site. We will answer questions related to zoning, criteria for additional suites, parking requirements and more.
As we move on to the next property, we will share what the process is from city permits, demo, ideal layouts, options for waterproofing and much more. Often this is the time when clients ask about plumbing and electrical, legal separation and fireproofing. The demo is underway and much of the home is exposed — a blank canvas. We will share how you can maximize the space and what tenants are looking for today and how many will pay a premium for certain features.
Finally, we will go through a home close to completion and ready for tenants. We will discuss the rental market, ideal tenants, property management and how to handle tenant issues if they come up.
We want to provide an excellent learning opportunity for any investor, new or experienced. These property tours are a great opportunity to have your questions answered and walk through the entire process.
As with previous tours we expect the spaces to fill up fast so do not be disappointed and register now.
